Volunteers make up the heart and soul of A.C.F. Food Bank. Without the help of volunteers, the Food Bank would have to employ an additional 66 people to make up for the labor volunteers provide free of charge. Each month hundreds of individuals log thousands of volunteer hours. Volunteers perform a wide variety of tasks, including opening and sorting mail, assisting drivers/customer service representatives during their daily route and packing or sorting emergency food boxes.
